Images are so intensely personal; viewing a photo will always have a different interpretation shaped by his or her experiences. However, the photographer taking a photo determines when a pivotal moment can be frozen in time forever. That pivotal moment lives on in the picture and will always be seen by the people, as in how we experience our school’s pride. Sharing our pivotal moments we create in our school with the world can excite people and guide them to be more interested as to how teenagers can connect with each other.
The camera lens can shows our audience our perspective on how we view our school, students, and environment. Certain aspects can be focused on moving parts;  if we should be finding the right balances between shadows and highlights or if we are too focused on the darkness that we forget the light in what our school brings to our students. We want to be honest with our audience; show them that even though our school is separated by four academies, in the end we can come together sharing our cultures that perhaps divide us.

Being one of those students, I believe that capturing all the blissful and dejected moments can prove that one’s connection with life can be captured in one single photo. Whenever I take a photo I feel that it's not just a photo that I’m taking, I feel the camera is a part of me and it’s actually capturing the vision I want to express. My camera lens mirrors back to me all the vibrant colors and feelings in my surroundings, attempting to comprehend all the emotions that are being put out in front of me.

Coming together as a whole school shows our community how we as teenagers are committed to bring enlightenment and to be there for one another. Capturing a photo from each academy can be engaging and honest; however, when all academics come together and take a picture off guard, that can be defined as art.
